...Diamonds are graded on four qualities, commonly known as the 4 C’s.


Color: The closer a diamond is to being colorless, the greater it’s value.


Clarity: The clarity of a diamond is determined by the size and number of inclusions inside of it.


Cut: This one of the hardest properties to judge, and there are a number of factors to consider. However, the angle they are cut at has a lot to do with how efficiently they work. The ideal angle for diamond pavilion facets is 41 degrees. Diamonds have a high refractive index, which gives them their great brilliance.


Carat: This is by far the easiest of the factors to understand. Smaller diamonds are more common than large ones. Therefore smaller diamonds cost less per carat than large ones.

A Diamond can be identified by its hardness and adamantine lustre. The hardness, brilliance, and sparkle of diamonds make them unsurpassed as gems.

Mystical power: Diamonds give faith, purity, life, joy, innocence and repentance. They assist in developing concentration and in being straightforward and honest. It is believed the diamond loses its brilliance with the health of the wearer, regaining it only when the owner recovers.
